BAHIA:
After Tammy's first trip to Lu's hometown in the Mata Atlantica jungles of Bahia, she immediately felt an awakening begin.
"There is a such purity in this land and incredibly beautiful, smiling faces and a true passion for life", she thought. It took no
time for Raiz Surf & Yoga Adventures to evolve.
After combing through many spectacular spots, they decided on the area of Engenhoca (Itacaré) for its incredible diversity.
It is an ideal location to practice yoga and capoeria, surf world-class waves, and enjoy all the fruit that exist in life, fresh for
the picking. One can take advantage of the geography by exploring the jungle, or go river rafting, snorkel in many of the
beautiful tide pools, and bathe in any of the 5 local waterfalls.
With enduring support from their amazing family and friends (tribe members), they have been AWE-inspired to open their
inaugural season of Raiz Surf & Yoga Adventures and welcome you to join them here in their slice of Heaven on Earth.

Raiz Surf & Yoga Adventures was founded by Luciano and Tammy
Dias - one loving, passionate Brasilian and one playful, spirited
American.
After a chance meeting in a gas station in South Florida, Luciano and
Tammy knew that they were destined to live in spiritual union together..
Their love has only grown ever since, as have their dreams - to create
a sacred space in the jungles of Bahia (Lu's home) where others could
feel there true potentiality.
As eternal students and teachers - diligently focused on their own
personal and spiritual growth: Lu a world-class surfer and Capoeira
instructor, and Tammy a certified yoga teacher and holistic wellness
specialist -, they have turned their dreams into reality. With a sheer
willingness to open and surrender to Spirit in their own lives, this has
helped them grow more committed to supporting others in their
process of personal and spiritual growth. Ommmmm...

Marmoset or Mico-estrela in Potugese- and over 70 types of birds. This
area also boasts the highest biodiversity of trees in the world (over 450
species per hectare). Watch the sun come up over the ocean's horizon;
smell the Cacau (cocoa) which the Gold Coast is famous for; dance in the
streets with the local Capoeiristas; or Samba the night away...
